The green, non-roasted beans of the coffee plant (Coffea arabica) are referred to as green coffee. Plenty of chlorogenic acid, which is largely destroyed when roasting the coffee, is contained inside. Chlorogenic acid has been proven in several studies to support a weight controlled diet.
